In this second album, the urban rhythms of Buenos Aires coexist with the rural rhythms of the Argentine countryside. Tangos, zambas, estilos and milongas make up the repertoire of this disc.

The eponymous title of a composition by Atahualpa Yupanqui, Campo abierto (The Great Plain) evokes the wide spaces and the intimate relationship between man and his landscape.
